The Harmer family has a reputation for their accurate lot descriptions, and Harmer’s liberal return policies reflect their confidence in their descriptions. Sometimes collectors have exact questions that can be answered through an additional inspection or photographs.  Additional review is often helpful for covers and large lots.  We are happy to help with a Lot Review.

A lot Review is a fast and straightforward way to answer detailed questions.

What to Expect

Call or email us with the lot number(s).  We will review the lots and arrange to speak with you.

As our time allows, we will accommodate your requests by providing additional scans, information, or images.

We will answer a client’s question to the best of our ability. Some questions, like, “is the crease very bad” are value judgments and do not represent a guarantee beyond what is described in our catalogue.

Large lots and remainder lots can require a considerable amount of time. Bidders wishing to look for a “pig in the poke” should plan to conduct the excavation personally.

As time permits and within reason, we are ready and willing to assist our clients.
