ABOUT Collection Appraisals
An appraisal is a valuation of your collection by a qualified appraiser. Appraisals are typically used for insurance, estate, and taxation purposes or to determine a possible selling price for the collection.
Harmers International, Inc. offers a realistic assessment of the market value of a collection, based upon in depth professional knowledge and daily contact with the world’s philatelic centers.
Appraisals are provided for all purposes including gifts, insurance, tax, probate or sale. Where appropriate, we will provide detailed recommendations of the most advantageous method and place of sale.
We will also advise the client, without prejudice, whether any offer that has been received should be accepted.
